a pillow for my heart - Hand bound book
This book began as a 4’x5’ relief carving into MDF board of my grandparent’s old house in Missouri. I then printed that block onto fabric and cut them into pages, backing them with a green fabric and stuffing them with quilt stuffing. I hand bound the pages together into a book and used ribbons to garnish the sides and tie it together.
I MISS MY BED AT HOME - Edible Screen Print
I created edible inks and screen printed this cmyk image that I drew of my old bedroom onto edible paper. I then mounted those pages onto a cake and had my friends eat it.
